Hydrographic Institute receives EuroGOOS General Assembly

The Hydrographic Institute received from 21 to 23 May the General Assembly of EuroGOOS, of which the Hydrographic Institute is a member, which this year met in Lisbon.

EuroGOOS is an association of national government agencies, research organizations and private companies, committed to oceanography in the context of the intergovernmental Global Ocean Observation System (GOOS).

EuroGOOS is one of the regions of the UNESCO-COI Global Ocean Observation System. Founded in 1994, EuroGOOS now has 46 members from 19 European countries, who provide operational oceanographic services and conduct marine research.
