Hydrographic Institute conducts air report with drone

In the context of the review of the Costa de Portugal Roadmap – Continental Portugal – Marinas and Ports of Recreio, two elements of the Navigation Division of the Hydrographic Institute carried out air images collection work using a Drone, between 25 and 27 June 2019.

The flights were carried out in Porto de Leixões, in Foz do Rio Douro, in Porto da Figueira da Foz, Nazaré and Peniche.

These works are a component of collecting information and updating images of port facilities and conspicuous brands, with a view to their dissemination through the Water Publications of the Hydrographic Institute to support the safety and navigation of pleasure nautical practitioners.
