Hydrographic Institute holds surrender and promotion ceremonies

The Hydrographic Institute held today the inauguration ceremony of the new Chief of the Quality Cabinet, Captain-in-fragnate Superior Naval Technique of the Chemistry branch, Isabel Cristina Salgueiro da Cruz, surrendering the Higher Technique, Chemical Engineer Maria do Pilar Costa Pestana da Silva, after 41 years of dedication to the service.

During the same ceremony, Captain Eugénio Gameiro Matthew was promoted to the rank of Captain-of-Mar-and-War.

The ceremony, chaired by the Director-General of the Hydrographic Institute, Rear Admiral Ramalho Marreiros, was closed with the traditional Port of Honor to toast the good news.
