Hydrographic Institute participates in the Blue-Cloud 2026 project

The second General Assembly of the Blue-Cloud 2026 project (BC2026) took place in Spazio Europa, Rome, Italy, from 7 to 9 November 2023, and was attended by the Portuguese Navy Hydrographic Institute, Socib and IEEE FRANCE SECTION, partners in the European Infrastructure JERICO-RI.

The Blue-Cloud 2026 project is a collaborative project led by Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) and Trust-IT, which takes advantage of the European experience in the observation of the aquatic environment and data management, building on infrastructures such as Copernicus and EMODNET, aiming to create a federated ecosystem for open data FAIR in marine research.

Under BC2026, the Socib and IEEE FRANCE SECTION are implementing a Virtual Laboratory (VLab) dedicated to the Integration of Ocean Coastal Observations along the European margin (VLab#1 ICOOE).
