Hydrographic Institute participates in international meetings
The Hydrographic Institute, through the Division of Chemistry and Pollution of the Marine Environment, participated in the meeting CCQM – Inorganic Analysis Working Group (IAWG) at the CCQM meeting - Gas Analysis Working Group (GAWG) at the CCQM meeting – Electrochemical Analysis Working Group (EAWG) and the 29th Plenary Meeting of the Advisory Committee on Quantity of Matter (CCQM), which took place on 23-26 April in Sèvres, Paris.
The Hydrographic Institute participated in the CCQM–IAWG meeting, as the Designated Institute, which took place on 23 and 24 April. The main points addressed were an overview of the ongoing activities, summary of the ongoing activities in the area of chemical metrology, the situation of the key comparisons and pilot study of the current CCQM-IAWG and the comparisons that are being planned for the coming years.
The 29th Plenary Meeting of the CCQM took place on April 25 and 26. This meeting was attended by about 105 representatives of the Chemical Metrology, the various National Metrology Laboratories and Designated Institutes, and had as main objectives the dissemination of the reports of the CCQM working groups.
These meetings allow us to exchange experiences and respond to the emerging areas of our society, promote joint projects and disseminate new developments and needs in the area of Chemical Metrology at international level.
