Hydrographic Institute organizes Summer School

It ended on Friday, July 21, the 2nd edition of the Summer School of Oceanographic Instrumentation, organized by the Hydrographic Institute (IH), which had the participation of 13 university students from Lisbon and Aveiro, for a week.

Participants had the opportunity to contact professionals directly in the area of Physical Oceanography, to know and experiment with various oceanographic observation equipment in the marine environment, to interpret the data collected and, in the end, present short projects related to the scientific activities developed.

With this initiative, the IH has made another small contribution to the rapprochement of students to the world of work and has strengthened their ties with national universities.
