Hydrographic Institute open to the Open Convents initiative

On 24 May, the Hydrographic Institute (IH) hosted the ‘Open Convents’ initiative that premiered at the Trinas Convent one of the five itineraries integrated in the activity programme, the ‘Circuit of Madragoa’, with a roadmap filled by the convents of the Trinas/Bernards/Inglesinhas.

The "Open Convents" was the result of a partnership between the C.M.L., the SCML and Tourist Section of the Patriarchate, allowing the approximately 40 visitors to appreciate the built heritage and the remaining collection of the ancient Trinas of the Mocambo under the guidance of two specialists in conventual heritage, Hélia Silva and Tiago Lourenço.

The Trinas circuit (at the Hydrographic Institute) was opened with the welcome assured by Commander Dias Correia and also with the presence of some collaborators of the Hydrographic Institute.
