Hydrographic Institute has new Director General

At a ceremony held yesterday, October 25, he took office as Director General of the Hydrographic Institute Rear Admiral Ramalho Marreiros, surrendering Rear Admiral Simões Marques.

The inauguration ceremony was chaired by the Chief of Staff of the Armada, Admiral Henrique Gouveia and Melo, and was attended by representatives of military and civil congenial entities, the Deputy Admiral Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armada and the general officers who run the various sectors of the Navy, as well as military and civilian service in the IH.
