Hydrographic Institute Celebrate the 61st Anniversary

The Hydrographic Institute (IH) celebrated its 61st anniversary on 24 September 2021.

The celebrations began with a session where new potentialities of the Ocean data infrastructure “Hydrographic +” were presented.

A ceremony for the imposition of decorations was followed, chaired by the director-general of the IH, Rear Admiral Carlos Ventura Soares, who had the presence of distinguished guests, military, militarized and civil service in this institute.

The ceremony ended with the delivery of souvenirs to employees who completed 35, 25 and 15 years of service of the IH.
