Hydrographic Institute and Port Administration of the Autonomous Region of Madeira sign protocol

The Hydrographic Institute (IH) and the Port Administration of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, S.A. (APRAM) signed a cooperation protocol today, July 5.

This protocol, signed by the Director-General of the IH, Rear Admiral Ramalho Marreiros, and the President of the APRAM, Engineer Paula Cabeço, aims to develop technical collaboration and exchange experiences, knowledge and technical and scientific information, in order to ensure safety in navigation, ensuring maritime accessibility and safeguarding the environment, as well as promoting training activities, research, conservation and monitoring actions and projects in the fields of hydrography, physical oceanography, chemistry, marine geology and hydrographic cartography.
