Hydrographic Institute obtains extension of the Accreditation of its Test Laboratories

The Hydrographic Institute (HI) has recently achieved the recognition of the Portuguese Institute of Accreditation (IPAC) to extend the scope of the Accreditation of its laboratories. The extent of the Accreditation, now obtained, includes the recognition of technical competence for the realization of 36 new analytical parameters, the vast majority of them in the area of polluting organic compounds, achieving the objective of obtaining accreditation of all analytical parameters set out in Annex III to Ordinance 1450/2007 (which defines the parameters to be analyzed for the definition of the degree of contamination of materials to be dredgedied).
