Hydrographic Institute welcomes 23rd RSPtic Meeting

The Hydrographic Institute (HI) received, on November 9, 2016, the 23rd Meeting of the Network of Shared Services of Information and Communication Technologies of Public Administration (rSPtic).

This group meets with a monthly frequency, in emblematic places of the State, in order to visit the space and learn about the activity of the visited entity.

This meeting was attended by Dr. Jaime Quesado, Director of the Shared Services Entity of Public Administration (eSPap), who coordinates the working group, the Director General of the National Security Office, Rear Admiral Gameiro Marques, as co-organizer of the 23rd meeting of rSPtic, and representatives of various bodies of the Public Administration, namely the Agency for Administrative Modernization, the Institute of Social Security Informatics, the Shared Services of the Ministry of Health, the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Economics, the General Directorate of Statistics for Education and Science, the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Internal Administration, the General Secretariat of Environment, the Management Centre of the Government's Computer Network, the Institute of Financial Management and Justice Equipment, the National Scientific Computing Foundation, the Ministry of Justice, the National Cyber Security Center and Altran Portugal, one of the main players in the Innovation and Technological Consultancy in Portugal.

Before the start of the meeting, the Director-General of the IH, Rear Admiral Coelho Candido, welcomed the group of participants, which followed the exhibition of the institutional video that explains the mission of this Institute, following a guided tour of the facilities, focusing mainly on the Technical Directorate and the historical sites of the Convent of the Trinas of Mocambo.
