Hydrographic Institute welcomes participants for the meeting of the SIMOcean project

The Hydrographic Institute received, on June 29, a group with about 30 participants, for the meeting under the SIMOcean - System for Integrated Monitoring of the Ocean project, which was attended by the Coordinators of DEIMOS Engenharia S.A., the partners of the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere, the operation of the General Directorate of Maritime Policy program and other guests.
The Hydrographic Institute, as a partner, contributes to the catalog and geoportal of the project, with the integration of different types of data: oceanographic, bathymetric and modeling results (sea agitation and ocean circulation forecasts).
This meeting allowed the respective entities to present the development of the project from September 2015 to date.
