Hydrographic Institute and Setúbal and Sesimbra Port Authority Sign Inter-Administrative Cooperation Agreement

On February 27, 2025, at the Port of Setúbal facilities, the Hydrographic Institute (IH) and Setúbal and Sesimbra Port Authority, S.A (APSS) signed an Inter-Administrative Cooperation Agreement. The signing ceremony was attended by APSS Board members Carlos Correia, Carla Ribeiro, and Ricardo Roque, as well as the Hydrographic Institute’s Rear Admiral João Paulo Ramalho Marreiros and Commander Carlos Videira Marques.

This agreement, signed by the IH Director-General, Rear Admiral Ramalho Marreiros, and the APSS President, Engineer Carlos Correia, aims to establish cooperation for the production of official hydrographic cartography for the Ports of Setúbal and Sesimbra, as well as Nautical Cartography, to ensure navigation safety, maritime accessibility, and environmental protection.
