Hydrographic Institute Participates in the Meeting of the International Hydrographic Organization
The Hydrographic Institute (HI) is participating this week in the meeting of the Hydrographic Surveys Working Group of the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO), taking place in Monaco.
Currently, the HI holds the vice-chairmanship of this working group, which is responsible for maintaining and promoting the use of publication S-44, related to standards for hydrographic surveying, updating publication C-13 – Manual on Hydrography, and identifying new systems, technologies, and methodologies. The group also fosters the exchange of experiences, best practices, and challenges, acting as the IHO’s focal point with Industry and Academia.
This edition of the meeting brings together representatives from 20 countries, as well as several members from the hydrographic industry.
