Installation of the receiver antenna of the ondograph buoy of Olhão

The Maritime Instrumentation Centre (IMC) of the Hydrographic Institute, within the framework of its technical expertise, set up the Recetora Station for the Datawell ondograph buoy in Olhão.

Olhão's Datawell buoy is part of the Environmental Monitoring Network (MRA), which is composed of several buoys and stations on land and has thus seen its network increased.

This was a complex work, given the location and the structure where the antenna is installed, having been carried out entirely by a CIM team. We are now awaiting favourable weather conditions to merge the datawell buoy to restore the operationality of this network point.
