IH welcomes the 2nd MGEOMETOC COE Building Conference

From 10 to 13 February the 2nd Conference of the Building of the MGEOMETOC COE will be held at the Hydrographic Institute.

This conference is part of the building and accreditation of the Center of Geospatial, Meteorological and Oceanographic Excellence of NATO (NATO Maritime Geospatial, Meteorological and Oceanographic Centre of Excellence - MGEOMETOC COE) and aims to bring the Nations together to discuss the legal basis of this future Centre of Excellence, with its headquarters in the Hydrographic Institute Facilities.

The opening session took place on 11 February and was chaired by SEXA the Minister of National Defense, Professor João Gomes Cravinho and the Chief of Staff of the Armada (CEMA), Admiral Mendes Calado.
