IH receives a visit from the Director of the NGA GSM Office of the EU Navy

On March 15, the Hydrographic Institute received a visit from the Director of the NGA Maritime Safety Office (National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency), CAPT Brian D. Connon, of the United States Navy.

After the presentation of greetings and the display of the institutional video, a working meeting followed, and a passage through the areas of the Technical Directorate and the Naval Meteorological and Oceanographic Center.

This visit allowed the visitor to know the research activities and projects currently under way at national and international level, as well as the availability of GEOMETOC information, essential to the planning and conduct of naval and maritime operations.
