IH receives the visit of the Master's in Sea Sciences students from FCUL

On November 12th the Division of Marine Geology (GM) of the Hydrographic Institute (IH), received a group of students from the Master's Degree in Sea Sciences, discipline of Paleoceanography, from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (FCUL), accompanied by Professor Mário Cachão.

The visit included the presentation of the institutional video and a lecture with the dissemination of ongoing research work and projects at GM.

A visit to the sedimentology laboratories was also made and a practical application of the various geophysics systems currently in use in this division of the Technical Direction of the IH was presented.
