IH has a new responsibility in the area of Inorganic Chemistry

On a proposal from the Portuguese Institute of Quality, the Laboratory of Chemistry and Pollution of the Marine Environment of the Hydrographic Institute was accepted and indicated by the "Bureau International des Poids et Mesures", on 23 January 2019, as the Institute Designated, in Portugal, for the Area of Inorganic Chemistry and for the parameters sea water (silica) and sediment (mercury).
