IH accepted as a member of MSN

The Hydrographic Institute (HI) was accepted as a member of the European Metrology Network (EMN) for Climate and Ocean Observation.

EMN is part of EURAMET (The European Association of National Metrology Institutes) and aims to contribute with new strategies in metrology in the areas of research, infrastructure, knowledge transfer and services, serving as climate support and ocean observations.

With this admission, the IH can participate in the meetings of the EMN and actively influence the issues to be discussed at the meetings; it can include its relevant activities in the work plans of the EMN and be aligned with the research areas of the various members; it can also advertise its activities on the EMN website.
