The hydrographic surveys carried out by NRP D. Carlos I in 2019 in the Azores were news in the iAtlantic program namely, the high resolution batimetry obtained from the submarine mount Diogo Had that allowed a better knowledge of the site and consequently develop research projects at the level of the local ecosystem.

IAtlantic is a multidisciplinary research program that seeks to evaluate the health of open ocean and high sea ecosystems throughout the Atlantic Ocean.
