Take-over of the Head of the Hydrographic Institute Project Office

In a ceremony chaired by the Director-General of the Hydrographic Institute, Rear Admiral Carlos Ventura Soares, took place on March 1, at the headquarters of the Hydrographic Institute, the inauguration ceremony of the Head of the Project Office of the Hydrographic Institute, Eng. António Jorge da Silva.

Senior technician António Jorge da Silva has been an oceanographer for more than 30 years, having spent much of his career in the Oceanography Division, where he acquired extensive technical and scientific experience and conducted many national and European projects.

This new challenge has as its main mission the prospect of opportunities and the preparation of applications for national and European projects in the field of marine sciences and techniques.
