Happy Portuguese Navy Day

In May 20th we celebrate Portuguese Navy Day.

This date marks the arrival of Vasco da Gama and his fleet in India in 1498, connecting Europe to the East by sea for the first time in history.

On this day, we salute all those who serve and have served in the Portuguese Navy with dedication, commitment, courage, and hard work.

To the military personnel, service members, and civilians — men and women — our heartfelt thanks for being part of this history.
