Institute Hydrography Fellow Recognized for Scientific Publication

On March 17 and 18, our PhD candidate, Simone Innocentini, under the supervision of Researcher Rui Quartau, participated in the congress "La Geologia Marina in Italia – Sesto Convegno dei Geologi Marini Italiani", held in Rome, Italy.

We are immensely proud to share that Simone received the award for the best scientific publication of 2025.

This article, a result of his research work developed at the Institute Hydrography, contributes to a better understanding of modern sedimentary processes in volcanic islands.
