First edition of the Pollutant Sample Collection course

The first edition of the “Collect of Pollutants Samples” course was held in the IH for staff who will be employed as a Maritime Police officer and responsible for collecting samples for expert analysis in counter-ordering processes for pollution offences.

In this course, the topics related to the analytical methodology used by the laboratory in the execution of chemical analyses and sampling techniques were discussed in a theoretical and practical way, and were taught by technicians from the Division of Chemistry and Pollution of the Marine Environment, the IH, and the Directorate for Combating Pollution of the Sea, DGAM.
