First Specialization Course of Officials in Maritime Authority 2022-2023

On 12 January 2023, the School of Hydrography and Oceanography (EHO) of the Hydrographic Institute (IH) received four students from the first Specialization Course of Officials in Maritime Authority to receive training in the technical areas of their responsibility, including operational forecasting, maritime safety information, studies and advice on sea marking and safety, environmental monitoring and hydrography.

This new course is an important step in the preparation of Navy officers for the performance of different types of naval military technical functions, but also the exercise of State authority at sea.
