First Project Article MELOA

On May 14, 2018 the first advertising article of the MELOA Project - Multi-purpose/Multi-sensor Extra Light Oceanography Apparatus was published “Why WAVY is not just another surface drifter?” by António Jorge da Silva of the Oceanography Division of the Hydrographic Institute.

This project, in which the Hydrographic Institute participates, is funded by the European Union Horizon 2020 programme, started in December 2017 and will run until February 2021.
