External Study Visit Penafirma à Instituto Hydrográfico

On January 9, the Hydrographic Institute received the visit of 29 students of the 10th year, accompanied by two teachers, from the External Penafeiro.

For this visit, promoted in the field of geography discipline A, the Hydrographic Institute (IH) prepared a program that included the presentation of the IH activity, two lectures, one dedicated to cartographic production “How to Produce a Nautical Charter” and another dedicated to marine geology “The geological knowledge of the seabed up to 500 meters”.

These students also had the opportunity to visit the laboratories of the Marine Geology Division.
