Exposure "The Hydrographic and the Sea of Nazareth"

An exhibition entitled “The Hydrographic and the Sea of Nazareth” will be held until April 30, 2018, at the Hydrographic Institute, through which it makes known the scientific activity that contributes to the knowledge of the sea, with a special focus on the Cannon of Nazareth.

Historical and current charts, sediment samples, meteo-oceanographic forecasting and the environmental monitoring network, technological and scientific developments in real-time sea observation, essential for the safety of maritime activities and for economic development, are on display.

The exhibition will be open to the general public and can be visited, from Monday to Friday, between 10 a.m. and 12 noon and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., in the exhibition hall of the Cartoteca of the Hydrographic Institute in Lisbon.
