Manuel Santos Estevens Exhibition

As has been usual in recent years, the Hydrographic Institute is associated with the celebrations of the International Day of Monuments and Sites. This time, it gives the public the exhibition Manuel Santos Estevens: A simple civil servant.

The first half of the century. XX was a period of profound changes in the Trina Convent, of which Dr. Manuel Estevens, a man who also idealized the current National Library of Portugal and who was Director for more than two decades.

He is the figure of Manuel Santos Estevens and his role in the Convent of the Trinas that we now make known, from 18 April to 6 May 2016.
