Executive Director of AIR CENTRE visits the IH

On February 13, the Executive Director of the Atlantic International Research Centre - AIR Centre (https://www.aircentre. org), José Joaquín Brito, visited the Hydrographic Institute (IH).

This meeting allowed a visit to the technical-scientific capabilities of the IH in order to identify future synergies, particularly in the fields of Ocean Mapping, Observation and Forecast.

This international research agency, of which Portugal is one of the founding countries, is based on Terceira Island, in the Azores and integrates the areas of space, ocean, atmosphere/climate, energy and data science.
