Portuguese Delegation of the Portugal-Spain Limit Commission visits OH

The President of the Portuguese Delegation of the Portuguese Border Commission Portugal-Spain, Mr. Ambassador Rui Lopes Aleixo, accompanied by the Technical Counsellor, Dr. Manuela da Câmara Falcão, visited the Hydrographic Institute (HI), on February 17, 2014, where he was received by the Director-General of the Hydrographic Institute, Rear Admiral António da Silva Ribeiro.

After attending the institutional film on the mission of the Hydrographic Institute, the visitor went through the divisions of the Technical Directorate - Hydrography, Navigation, Oceanography, Technical-Scientific Data Center, Marine Geology and Chemistry and Pollution of the Marine Environment, where he allowed the exchange of information on the activity and services provided in national and international territory, and better know the capabilities and projects currently under way in the IH.
