Nato Day

Today, 75 years of NATO are celebrated. The Hydrographic Institute has hosted the first NATO Centre of Excellence on national territory, the NATO Maritime GEOMETOC Centre of Excellence (MGEOMETOC COE).

The mission of the MGEOMETOC COE is to improve transformation efforts in the field of the Maritime GEOMETOC for the benefit of the Alliance. Its concept is to explore the environment of maritime operating theatres to optimize the commitment of sensors, weapons, selection of targets, logistics, equipment and personnel.

The Hydrographic Institute congratulates the Atlantic Alliance and all its member countries.
