June 21, World Hydrography Day, the 5th JEH - 2018 ended
After the thematic sessions presented throughout the day, the final closing ceremony took place, with the presence of some of the participants and representatives of the institutions that brightened this science meeting.
During these three days, some 130 participants, national and foreign, representatives of public institutions, including several State laboratories, companies, sponsors, and R&D project representatives contributed with about 120 oral and poster communications, covering the areas of hydrography, navigation, marine geology, geographic information systems, marine environment data management, sea technologies, oceanographic engineering and operational oceanography, physics, geological and chemical.
The level of adherence and multidisciplinarity of the topics addressed justify the high success of these days in favor of Hydrography, the sciences and the knowledge of the sea. ”
