Specialization Course of Officers in Submarine Weapons 2024

The officers of the Specialization Course in Submarine Weapons (ETB01), 1st edition PAFM 1 2024, attended part of the module “Acoustic and Oceanography II”, at the Hydrography and Oceanography School of the Hydrographic Institute, from 21 to 29 May 2024.

At this stage of the course, the subjects addressed focused mainly on the themes dedicated to Oceanography, Marine Geology, Underwater Acoustics, Operational SONER Forecast and Environmental Support for Naval Operations (GEOMETOC).

The present edition of this Specialization Course is attended by two Navy-class officers, already with some operational experience, since, before specialization, both performed functions in naval units.

This shows, once again, cooperation between Navy bodies in the technical preparation of their operations.
