Specialization Course in Navigation is at the Hydrographic Institute

Officials of the Specialization Course of Officers in Navigation are currently at the stage of the course at the Hydrographic Institute. At this stage, with a duration of two weeks, students will have lessons mainly dedicated to the themes of Navigation, Hydrography, Nautical Cartography and Oceanography. In this context they also carry out a hydrographic survey expedited by standard on the dock of the Head of Lights.

This course, whose present edition is attended by three Navy-class officers, has already had a common share of other specializations that took place at the Naval Technology School and the Integrated Training and Naval Evaluation Center. After this phase they will return to the Naval School and then carry out a boarding stage on board a Navy ship during their participation in a naval exercise.
