Promotion Course to Chief Sergeant visits the Hydrographic Institute 2024

The Hydrographic Institute (IH) received this Wednesday, October 30, the visit of a group of graduates of the Promotion Course to Chief Sergeant.

The trainees were able to know the various divisions of the Technical Directorate of the IH, namely the Technical and Scientific Data Center, Navigation, Oceanography, Hydrography, Chemistry laboratory, Marine Geology laboratory and Geospatial Center, Meteorological and Oceanographic Maritime (CMETOC).

With this visit, the military had the opportunity to know the attributions and the organic structure of the IH, as well as its operation, mode of operation and the responsibilities inherent in each division.
