Commander of the Navy Angola visits the Hydrographic Institute

The Hydrographic Institute (IH) received yesterday, February 21, the visit of the Angolan Navy Commander, Admiral Valentim Alberto António, in the framework of his visit to the Portuguese Navy.

On this visit, accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the Armada, Admiral Gouveia and Melo, the Commander of the Angolan Navy had the opportunity to attend a briefing on the activities that the IH carries out, its tasks and organic structure, its operation and its responsibilities.

There was also room to visit an equipment exhibition, where the IH presented a comprehensive view of its latest capabilities in maritime technology, highlighting the practical application of remote monitoring systems and state-of-the-art sensors.
