Commander Martins Gonçalves is the new Head of IH-SensorTech

Commander Martins Gonçalves (Captain-Lieutenant) took office on 6 October as the new Head of IH-SensorTech, succeeding Commander Santos Fernandes in the role.

The ceremony was presided over by the Director-General of the Hydrographic Institute, Rear Admiral Ramalho Marreiros, and concluded with a traditional Porto de Honra to mark the occasion.

The Hydrographic Institute expresses its recognition and gratitude to Commander Santos Fernandes for his dedication, professionalism and valuable contribution throughout his tenure.

To Commander Martins Gonçalves, the IH extends its best wishes for success in the fulfilment of his new responsibilities.
