"Oxygen Club" conducts guided tour of the Hydrographic Institute

On April 27, 2022, a group of 21 participants from the Oxigen Club, the Portuguese Gymnasium Club, made a cultural visit to the Hydrographic Institute (IH).

Throughout the guided tour, the historical framework of the spaces was carried out, addressing issues related to the conventional activity over more than three centuries. In addition to the highlight given to the tile collection, which decorates the walls of the old Convent of the Trinas of Mocambo, some of the equipment that constitute the technical-scientific collection of the IH, as well as the temporary exhibition dedicated to the “Missions of Portuguese Hydrography in the 20th century”.

The Oxygen Club is dedicated to organizing cultural tours and conducting guided tours to museums and historical monuments.
