Certificate of Recognition of the Specialization Course in Hydrography
The Hydrography and Oceanography School of the Hydrographic Institute received Certificate No 174, with the recognition of the Specialization Course in Hydrography with the Category “A”, issued by International Board on Standards of Competence for Hydrographic Surveyors and Nautical Cartooners (IBSC) of the International Geometric Federation, International Hydrographic Organization and International Cartographic Association.
This recognition that has a validity of six years allows the Specialization Course in Hydrography of this School to continue in this way among one of the currently 20 (twenty) Hydrography Courses worldwide with the highest recognition.
The first recognition of the Course took place in 1983, with the issue of Certificate No 7 and was thus the seventh course to be recognized internationally in the framework of Hydrography.
The Specialization Course in Hydrography, which is in the registration phase for the new course that starts next September, is also available to the civil community. This course also allows interested students to continue to conduct a Masters in Hydrographic Engineering.
