Ceremony of Possession Taking of the Head of CMETOC

On November 17, the Possession Ceremony was held as Head of the Meteorological and Naval Oceanographic Center - CMETOC, First Lieutenant TSN-AMB Luís Lentema dos Santos.

The ceremony took place at the Noble Hall Pedro Nunes and was chaired by the Director-General of the Hydrographic Institute, CALM Coelho Cândido.

The new Naval Meteorological and Oceanographic Centre now allows for better management and availability of GEOMETOC information, essential to the planning and conduct of naval and maritime operations and the IH activity.
