Division of Chemistry and Pollution of the Marine Environment publishes new article
The Division of Chemistry and Pollution of the Marine Environment of the Hydrographic Institute, together with the Structural Chemistry Center of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, published in June 2020 a new article in a renowned international journal.
The article “Determination of river water composition trends with uncertainty: Seasonal variation of nutrients concentration in Tagus river estuary in the dry 2017 year” describes a new methodology for the reliable detection of small river composition trends, taking into account all relevant uncertainty components. This methodology was applied to study the variation of nutrient concentration in the river estuary Tejo in 2017, an extremely dry year.
