‘Scientia Mare 2018 Award’ awarded to the Hydrographic Institute

The Hydrographic Institute was awarded the ‘Scientia Mare 2018 Award’, one of the six ‘Excellens Mare 2018 Awards’ awarded annually by PwC Portugal.

These awards aim to recognise the excellence and merit of persons or entities that perform or have played a key role in implementing an integrated vision of sustainable economic development of the activities of the Sea or that have a positive and transversal impact on important sectors of the sea economy.

The “Scientia Mare 2018 Award” assigned to the Hydrographic Institute aims to “recognize the excellence and merit of persons or entities that produce significant advances in the knowledge of the aquatic environment or that promote blue innovation”.
