Auditors of the Promotion Course to Official General 2017/2018 visit the Hydrographic Base

The Officers Auditors of the Promotion Course to Official General 2017/2018 – of the Navy class - of Portuguese nationality visited this Thursday, the Hydrographic Base of the Hydrographic Institute, in Seixal.

The visit program began with a presentation on the theme “Management of the Hydrographic Institute – current perspective and future challenges”, delivered by the Director-General of the IH, Rear Admiral António Coelho Cândido. The group of officers Auditors also passed the Maritime Instrumentation Center, the Laboratory of Calibration of technical and scientific equipment, the flag of vessels and the Hydrographic Brigades, providing a direct contact and the exchange of information on the activities and means used that contribute to the knowledge and research at sea.
