Agenda 2030 – An innovation agenda in public management

The Hydrographic Institute (IH) was present today (10MAI2019) at the conference “Agenda 2030 – An innovation agenda in Public Administration”, which took place at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.

The event was organized by the Foreign Affairs and Finance Government areas and aims to promote the debate on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the context of Public Administration. The opening session was held by the Minister of Finance, Mário Centeno. The program had 3 panels with specialists from different areas of Public Administration.

On 1 January 2016 the United Nations (UN) resolution entitled “Transform our world: Development Agenda 2030 Sustainable” made up of 17 goals, set at 169 goals, approved by world leaders on September 25, 2015, at a memorable summit at the UN headquarters in New York.

IH has, of course, an important contribution to make especially in the context of Objectives 13, 14 and 17, but also for Objectives 4 and 9. Let us work on these goals that benefit us all!
