6th Days of Hydrographic Engineering and 1st Days of Luso-Spanish Hydrography - 2020

It took place between November 3 and 5 at the Hydrographic Institute (IH), the 6th Hydrographic Engineering Days and 1st Luso-Spanish Hydrography Days, in a hybrid format, between face-to-face and virtual platform.
The event was held for the first time with a joint organization between the Portuguese Navy Hydrographic Institute (IH) and the Spanish Navy Hydrographic Institute of the Marina, thus starting a sharing route that counted at its Opening Session with the intervention of the Chief of Staff of the Armada, Admiral Mendes Calado.
In view of the pandemic, the Days were held in the mode of webinar, having their two hundred participants assisted and conducted their communications over the internet. A total of 105 communications were performed, grouped by 8 thematic areas.
In the year of its 60th anniversary, the IH called 12 countries, with about a hundred participants per day of work, mostly Portuguese and Spanish.
