6a PiE-Particles in Europe Conference

The PiE-Picles in Europe Conference will take place on 14-17 October 2018 at the Hydrographic Institute.

The Particles in Europe or PiE conferences are biannual events on the measurement, monitoring and management of sediments in aquatic environments, bringing together experts from various fields of common interest in particle dynamics, in informal meetings of exchange of ideas and information.
Among others, there is the presence of sound names in the area of acoustic detection of sediments such as Thorne, Hanes and Guerrero, as well as the head of Sequoia Scientific and head of the PiE conferences, Dr. Yogi Agrawal, author of several articles in renowned international journals in the field of particle analysis by optical methods and one of those responsible for the development of LIST – Laser In-situ Transmissometry.
