Objetives: Study of natural tsunami phenomena and application of sedimentological techniques aiming:

1. study of the sedimentary record on the south coast of Portugal to identify and reconstruct the events recorded throughout the Holocene;
2. identify the period of return of events;
3. modeling the response of the coastal system to future occurrences.
